1883 Alfa Laval was founded.
1879 The first continuous separator is demonstrated in Stockholm.
1898 First yeast separator is installed in a customer production line.
1916 Alfa Laval sells the first separator for oil purification.
1919-1936 Subsidiaries are formed in Denmark, South Africa, Finland, Australia, New Zealand, Poland, Yugoslavia and Ireland.
1962 AB Rosenblads patents are acquired.
1963 The company changes its name from AB Separator to Alfa-Laval AB.
1991 Tetra Pak acquires Alfa Laval.
1993 Alfa Laval becomes an independent industrial group within the Tetra Laval Group.
2000 Industri Kapital buys the Alfa Laval Group.
2002 Acquires Danish Separation Systems A/S (DSS) and the Toftejorg Group.
2005 Acquires Packinox S.A. in France.
2011 Alfa Laval acquires Aalborg Industries.
2014 The company opens its Test and Training center in Aalborg, Denmark.
2021 Alfa Laval acquires StormGeo.
2022 Alfa Laval acquires Desmet.
