1905	Eric Norman Ansell, a former Dunlop Pneumatic Tyre Co. employee, acquired condom manufacturing machinery from Dunlop and founded the Ansell Rubber Company in Melbourne, Australia.
1965	The company introduced GAMMEX, the first gamma-sterilized disposable surgeon's gloves, setting a new benchmark for surgical safety and sterility for healthcare professionals.
1970-1989	Ansell strategically acquired several industrial glove companies, enhancing their portfolio in personal protective equipment. During this period, the company expanded its production capabilities by establishing operations in Malaysia and the U.S.
