18 May 2006 Arkema was listed on the Paris stock market.
October 2007 The company acquired Coatex, one of the leading producer of rheology additives used in paints, coatings, packaging, and paper.
July 2011 Arkema acquired Sartomer and Cray Valleyfrom the Total group.
October 2011 Arkema has expanded its presence in Asia and intensifies its R&D efforts in China. 
  Arkema lays the foundation stone to built a new research and development center in Changshu, Shanghai.
2012-2014  
February 2012 The company has acquired Casda Biomaterials, a sebasic acid producers; and Hipro Polymers, a specialty polyamides 10 producer.
October 2014 Arkema bolsters its positions in the Asian market with the formation of Sunke in partnership with Jurong Chemical, an acrylic acid leader in China.
2015  
January 2015 Arkema reaffirms its expertise in thiochemicals technologies with the commissioning of the Kerteh plant in Malaysia.
February 2015 With the acquisition of Bostik, the company has taken major steps towards the development of specialty adhesives.
2016  
December 2016 Arkema acquired Den Braven, one of the leading providers of sealants for insulation and construction in Europe.
2017  
July 2017 Arkema aims to double the production capacity for methyl mercaptan to bolster its position as one of the leading players in sulfur derivatives. 
2018  
March 2018 Arkema and Hexcel collaborated to produce thermoplastic composite solutions for aerospace industry.
July 2018 Arkema aims to launch a 3D Printing Center of Excellence at its Sartomer Exton facility  which will comprise mostly the UV based technologies and develop advanced 3D printing resins for sports, dental, and electronics applications.
2019  
March 2019 Arkema started its first PEKK production plant in U.S.
May 2019 Arkema plans to build its new plant for the manufacturing of amino 11 monomer and its flagship Rilsan polyamide 11 in Jurong Island, Singapore.
  Arkema acquired ArrMaz, an U.S.-based leader in specialty surfactants for crop nutrition, mining, and infrastructure.
July 2019 The Group acquire two companies: Prochimir and Lambson.
December 2019 Arkema acquires the Danish company LIP, a leader in tile adhesives, waterproofing, and floor preparation products in the Scandinavian market.
2020  
June 2020 Arkema divests its Functional Polyolefins business.
July 2020 Arkema acquires Fixatti, a company specialized in high-performance thermobonding adhesive powders.
2021  
February 2021 Arkema launched Start-up Connect, inviting start-ups globally specialized in advanced materials to join and establish research collaborations with the company.
August 2021 Arkema acquires Ashland’s Performance Adhesives business, a provider of pressure-sensitive adhesives, structural adhesives for flexible packaging.
October 2021 Arkema unveils the construction plan of a polyamide 11 powders plant at Changshu platform, China.
2022  
January 2022 Officially, Arkema has been certified as a top employer for the first time in the U.S., Brazil, France, and China.
November 2022 Arkema announced its broad category of mass balance acrylic materials.
