Company Overview
Chevron Phillips Chemical Co. LLC (CPChem) is a leading global producer of petrochemicals and plastics. It is a joint venture between Chevron Corp. and Phillips 66, with each company holding a 50% stake. The company was formed in 2000, by merging the chemicals operations of both Chevron Corp. and Phillips Petroleum Co. CPChem combines the resources, technology and expertise of both parent companies to operate a diverse portfolio of chemical manufacturing facilities around the world.
CPChem is committed to Operation Clean Sweep programs to prevent plastic loss from the facilities. To accomplish this its plastics manufacturing sites have OCS teams that assess risk, perform inspections, and identify improvement opportunities.
