1970 CONMED Corp. was established under the laws of the State of New York.
1997 CONMED Corp. acquired the business division and certain assets of Linvatec  Corp. from  Bristol-Myers Squibb Co. for a cash of $370.0 million.
2004 CONMED Corp. acquired a larger share of the gastroenterology and pulmonary business from C.R. Bard to expand its presence in the general surgery market.
2011 CONMED Corp. partnered with the Musculoskeletal Transplant Foundation (MTF), one of the largest tissue banks for sports medicine applications. Under this partnership, CONMED's subsidiary, CONMED Linvatec, will serve as a marketing representative for MTF's sports medicine allograft tissues globally.
2016 CONMED Corp. acquired a privately-held SurgiQuest, Inc. (SurgiQuest), which will now become a part of the CONMED Advanced Surgical business. 
2019 CONMED Corp. acquired Buffalo Filter, one of the leading surgical smoke evacuation and filter technology providers, to cement its spot as a leader in surgical smoke management solutions.
2022 CONMED Corp. acquired In2Bones Global, Inc. (In2Bones) to enhance its solutions for the treatment of disorders and injuries in the upper and lower extremities.
