1929 Daniel Carasso joined the family business and sets up in France launching the brand under the name: Société Parisienne du yoghourt Danone.
1942 Daniel eventually expanded Danone across the North America.
1973 Danone was merged with Boussois-Souchon-Neuvesel and formed BSN-Gervais Danone.
1990 The company has been renamed from BSN-Gervais Danone to Danone.
2007 It has acquired Royal Numico, a global leader in Baby and Medical Nutrition.
2015 Danone acquired the company called The HappyFamily, which addresses the growing health issues linked to childhood Nutrition.
2017 Acquired WhiteWave, the former Danone Dairy merged with WhiteWave and formed a new subsidiary in North America as a public benfit corporation.
