1980 Andy & Clai Bachmann founded Dymax Corp. after purchasing the assets from the Specialty Chemical Co.
1981 Dymax developed its first UV-curing structural adhesive for headlamp applications.
1982 The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) awarded the company an Adhesive Composition patent.
1984 The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has awarded Dymax two patents covering adhesive and coating compositions.
1989 Dymax has been awarded a Cure/Dispense System patent.
1991 The company has been awarded Photocurable Acrylate Adhesive, which contains pester/tautomeric acid adhesion promoter.
1996 Dymax has been awarded four patents covering a Pre-focused Lamp and Reflector Assembly, a Two-Component Coating Formulation, a Water-Soluble Masking Formulation, and a Chemically Activated Multi-Part Composition.
1997 The company has been awarded three patents: an Atomic Radiation-Curable Coating Method, an Atomic Radiation-Curing Encapsulant, and an Oxygen-Curable Coating.
2000 Dymax acquired assets from ADAC Technologie, Inc.
2001 Dymax has been awarded two patents covering Electrically Conductive, Radiation-Curable Material, Method of Use, and Article.
2003 The company introduced 3082-B2C Clamshell Adhesive, designed explicitly for quick bonding and sealing PET plastic clamshell packages.
2008 The company introduced the Ultra-Red Fluorescing Adhesive Line, a radiation-cured adhesives and coatings technology.
  Dymax unveiled See-Cure Technology, which does not affect adhesives' RoHS compliance and offers similar biocompatibility characteristics for MD medical device adhesives.
2010 Dymax opened its new office to provide sales and application support to manufacturers throughout South Korea.
2011 The company has been awarded two patents covering Photopolymerizable Compositions Containing an Oxyl Dye and Radiation-Curable Fluorescing Compositions.
2018 Dymax released its 9452-FC, a low-viscosity conformal coating formulated for electronics as an alternative to thin, solvent-based conformal coatings.
2021 Dymax released its Dual-Cure 9771 NASA low outgassing conformal coating, which meets ASTM E595 standards.
