1966 Ensinger oHG was founded in Ehningen by Wilfried Ensinger.
1970 The company relocated its headquarters from Ehningen to nearby Nufringen to expand its production and storage capacity.
1971 The company started machining semi-finished products to produce machine elements and components.
1974 Ensinger started the development of extrusion technology for the processing of glass fiber-filled polyamide 6.6 precision profiles.
1986 The company opened its first foreign subsidiary, Ensinger Inc., in Washington/Pennsylvania, U.S.
1987 Wilfried Ensinger and John Speirs founded Ensinger Limited in Llantrisant, South Wales.
1994 The company started producing semi-finished and finished compression molded parts from polyimides suitable for ultra-high temperature applications.
1994 The company acquired specialist machine shop TRIG Engineering based in Bridgwater.
1998 The company established the Wilfried Ensinger Foundation (today: Wilfried and Martha Ensinger Foundation). This foundation supports cultural projects in Rottenburg and social projects in Eastern Europe, Africa, Asia, Central and South America, as well as providing funding for budding young scientists in Germany.
1999  The company group inaugurated a new production facility in São Leopoldo, at the south-eastern tip of Brazil, and started selling semi-finished parts and components throughout the South American continent.
2007 The company established Ensinger Engineering Plastics Company in Shanghai and produced machined materials.
2019 The company acquired the medical technology manufacturer Moll Engineering.
2019 The company sold its Thermix insulating glass spacer business to the Italian Fenzi Group.
2022 The company acquired Poly-Tech Industrial, Inc.’s assets, including its Huntersville, NC facility and its entire team.
