1919	Ferro Enameling Co. was formed to sell frit and service products.
1950s	Ferro created the first gel coat, a durable plastic coating that became the standard construction material for boats.
2022	Prince International Corp. acquired Ferro Corp. The three combined companies, including Chromaflo Technologies Corp., were rebranded as Vibrantz Technologies Inc.
