1991 First Sensor AG was founded and has been listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange since 1999.
1994 First Sensor developed a photodiode component for monitoring astronauts' blood circulation and oxygen saturation in the space station MIR for one of today's leading aerospace companies. The photodiode measures oxygen saturation in the blood.
2000 Klay, a subsidiary of First Sensor AG, introduced the first digital transmitter with the HART protocol for converting various input signals onto the market.
2003 As part of an international aviation project, First Sensor's subsidiary ELBAU developed the structural design and connection technology for the first fully automatic digital camera for photogrammetry and the remote sensing of Earth from airplanes.
2009 First Sensor launched STARe, a sensor-based technology for advanced resistors that allows the company's pressure sensors to provide unrivaled stability for high-precision applications.
2016 First Sensor developed Area View Kit delivery, providing 360° all-around visibility for special-purpose vehicles and machines.
2019 Increasing demand for high-performance sensor technology urges First Sensor AG to expand its production capacities with a contract manufacturer for industrial, medical, and automotive applications.
