These materials consist of 1 or 2 layers of fiber reinforcement combined with a pre-cast, pre-catalyzed resin film. The material has the appearance of dry reinforcement, which has resin concealed at its center. SPRINT materials are produced by a process that differs from conventional prepreg so that the fibers in the reinforcements remain dry and un-impregnated by the resin.
