KUKA AG, together with its subsidiaries, manufactures and sells industrial and service robots, as well as robot controllers and software. The company was founded in 1898 and is based in Augsburg, Germany. It offers a comprehensive portfolio ranging from industrial robots to fully automated systems across various industries such as automotive, electronics, consumer goods and healthcare.

The company operates five business segments:

• Systems division: Covers the entire value chain of a system, from individual system components, tools and fixtures to complete turnkey systems.

• Robotics division: Includes components for automating production processes, including industrial, collaborative and mobile robots, along with robot controllers, software and digital services for the industrial internet of things (IIoT). It also offers comprehensive service for robots and machines, from maintenance and repair to the supply of suitable spare parts.

• Swisslog division: Taps the growth markets of e-commerce/retail and consumer goods in the field of intralogistics and serves customers in more than 50 countries global.

• China segment: Comprised of all business activities of the Chinese companies in the Systems, Robotics, Swisslog and Swisslog Healthcare divisions.
