1963 Shiga Plant (now Shiga Gamo Plant) is established in Shiga, Japan.
1968 Representative office opens in California U.S.
1969 Kyocera International Inc. is established as Kyocera's North American sales company.
1971 Feldmühle Kyocera Europa Elektronische Bauelemente GmbH (now KYOCERA Europe GmbH) is established in cooperation with Feldmühle AG in Germany.
1982 Four affiliates, including Cybernet Electronics Corp., merged with Kyoto Ceramic Co. Ltd. to form Kyocera Corp.
1983 Yashica Co. Ltd. merges with Kyocera.
2001 Tycom Corp. (now Kyocera Precision Tools Inc.) joins the Kyocera Group.
2002 Toshiba Chemical Corp joins the Kyocera Group.
2008 Kyocera acquires the mobile phone business of Sanyo Electric Co. Ltd.
2009 Kyocera Asia Pacific (India) Pvt. Ltd. is established in India.
2018 Kyocera acquires the power tools business of Ryobi Limited. Kyocera Industrial Tools Corp. is established.
2020 Kyocera Solar Corp. is consolidated into Kyocera Communication Systems Co. Ltd.
2021 Kyocera-Ube RF Tec Corporation is consolidated into Kyocera Corporation.
2022 Fine Ceramics divisions in Europe are consolidated into Kyocera Fine ceramics Europe GmbH.
2023 Kyocera and Kyudenko partner to form a new company, Kyocera Green Innovation LLC.
