1915 The company was established.
  Fred Lallemand developed a production plant in Préfontaine Street, Montreal.
1952 Roland Chagnon acquired the Lallemand business.
1970s The company started exploring other markets by gradually initiating the production and sale of distillers’ and winemaking yeasts.
1993 The company started expanding its bakers yeast operations into European and African market by buying, consolidating, and expanding yeast plants in Portugal, Estonia, Germany, Austria, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia, Finland, South Africa, Denmark,  and the U.K.
2000s The company continued to seek out new markets.
