1863	Bayer AG was founded.
2004	Majority of the chemicals business and about one third of the plastics activities were spun-off in the course of a reorganization of Bayer AG and transferred to the newly established LANXESS AG and its subsidiaries.
2005	Bayer ABS Limited renamed as LANXESS ABS Limited in April.
2016	LANXESS and Saudi Aramco complete joint venture deal ARLANXEO.
