2011	Lithoz was founded in 2011 by Dr. Johannes Homa and Dr. Johannes Benedikt as a spin-off of TU Vienna. The company specializes in developing and producing materials and Additive Manufacturing (AM) systems for 3D-printing high-performance ceramics.
2017	The company established its subsidiary in Albany, U.S. This move aimed to expand its presence in the North American market and support its growing customer base.
2020	The company established an innovation laboratory at Lithoz's headquarters in Vienna, Austria, dedicated to advancing ceramic 3D printing.
2021	Lithoz further expanded its global footprint by establishing Lithoz China in Shanghai. This strategic move strengthened the company's presence in the rapidly growing Asian market and enhanced its ability to provide localized support and services to regional customers.
2021	The company expanded its production capabilities by opening a second base in Austria. The additional facility scaled up manufacturing to support its growing customer base globally.
2022	Lithoz acquired Germany-based CerAMing, the patent holder of the Layer-wise Slurry Deposition (LSD)-Print ceramic 3D printing process, to further expand its portfolio and cover a broad range of applications in ceramic additive manufacturing.
2023	Lithoz entered a sales partnership with Wendth India to accelerate its growth in the Indian 3D printing market. This collaboration aimed to leverage Wendt India's established presence and expertise in precision engineering to promote Lithoz's advanced ceramic 3D printing solutions.
2023	The company partnered with ZENIT Smart Polycrystals, a spin-off of CNR ISTEC (Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche), to support the market launch of its patented polycrystal components for solid-state lasers.
2023	The company partnered with Himed, a New York-based biomaterials specialist, to further innovation and research into the 3D printing of medical-grade bioceramics.
