Founded in 1975, Nippon Ceramic Co. Ltd. (NICERA) is engaged in the development, manufacture, and sale of ceramic sensors, ferrite, and modules in Japan. The company primarily offers ceramics and semiconductor materials used to make infrared sensors to protect property and life, ultrasonic sensors for care safety and theft prevention, and gas sensors to help maintain clean environments. Its products are also used as electronic components for computer and mobile communications. These include pyro- sensors, thermopile sensors, and ultrasonic sensors; module products, such as motion detectors, lighting inverters, home fire alarms, sensor lights, and LED modules; ferrite products; current sensors; transformers; and Hall elements and Hall ICs, as well as exhaust gas sensors, ozone detectors, ozone sensors, and ozone checkers. Nippon Ceramic serves the household equipment and plant facilities, automobile, home electronics, and office automation equipment and electronics sectors.
