1933	Omron established as Tateishi Electric Works in Higashinoda, Miyakojima Ward, Osaka City.
1933	Started manufacturing timer for X-ray photography
1945	The factory was relocated to Hanazono Dodo-cho, Ukyo Ward, Kyoto City.
1948	The company changed its trade name to Tateishi Electric Corp.
1959	Established the Omron trademark and formalized its company constitution.
1960	Omron developed the world's first contactless proximity switch, setting a new standard in industrial automation.
1964	The company continued to innovate, introducing the world's first electronic automatic sensitive signal in 1964.
1967	Omron pioneered the development of the world's first unmanned station system, revolutionizing transportation technology.
1969	Omron made significant contributions to computing with the introduction of the CALCULET-1200, the world's smallest desktop computer
1971	Omron developed the world's first online cash machine, advancing the field of financial technology.
1988	Established OMRON EUROPE B.V. which was an European Regional President in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
