1975	The Schneider Group acquires an interest in Merlin Gerin.
1981-1997	The company divests from steel and shipbuilding and focuses mainly on electricity through acquisition.
1999	The company acquires Lexel.
2000-2009	The company expanded into new market segments such as UPS, movement control, building automation and security.
2010-2021	The company further expanded in software, critical power and smart grid application business.
2022	Schneider Electric and CEA extended R&D collaboration.
2023	Schneider Electric and Capgemini collaborated for 5G industrial automation, supported by Qualcomm.
