1926	The company was founded in September 1926. The company was intially founded as Shin-Etsu Nitrogen Fertilizer Co., Ltd. With the focus to produce lime nitrogen and chemical fertilizers.
1953	The company started produucing silicones and became the first firm to eneter into silicone busines in Japan.
1976	The company established the Silicone-Electronics Materials Research Center.
2010	Shin-Etsu Silicones Europe B.V. opens a new branch in Wiesbaden, Germany.
2011	Shin-Etsu Singapore Pte. Ltd. opens a new branch in New Delhi, India.
2013	Asia Silicones Monomer Ltd. become a wholly owned Shin-Etsu Group.
2021	Shin-Etsu Silicones Europe B.V. opens a new branch in GyÅ‘r, Hungary.
