Company Overview

Stilla Technologies is a French pureplay digital PCR company. Its dPCR system partitions the sample using a confinement gradient into a large 2D array of droplets, also called a droplet crystal. A PCR reaction occurs in each of the partitioned 25,000-30,000 droplets that make up the droplet crystal; a fluorescence read-out is performed at end point by taking high-resolution images of the crystal. This dPCR workflow (crystal digital PCR) combines the advantages of a) array-based dPCR, such as an integrated workflow and multiplexing; with b) those of ddPCR, such as reduced cost.

Stilla has U.S. headquarters in Boston, and European headquarters in Paris, along with strategic distribution and business partnerships in China and throughout EMEA. The company has several distribution partnerships in Asia, including partnerships with ApexBio (China), Cycloud Bio (China), FUJIFILM (Japan), ThunderBio Science (South Korea), DKSH (Malaysia, New Zealand, Australia), Sciencewerke (Singapore), LevelBio (Taiwan), Bio-Active (Thailand), ITS (Vietnam) and Eppendorf (India).
