1961 TOA Electric Co. Ltd. (presently TOA Corp.) entered the medical electronics market.
1966 Launched the CC-1002 automated hematology analyzer.
1968 Established TOA Medical Electronics Co. Ltd. (presently Sysmex Corp).
1972 Acquired the Medical Electronics (ME) Equipment Division of TOA Electric Co. Ltd.
1973 Established the Kakogawa Factory in Kakogawa.
1978 Launched the corporate brand name "Sysmex."
1979 Established a U.S. subsidiary TOA Medical Electronics (USA) Inc. (presently Sysmex America Inc.)
1986 Established the new Kobe Factory and relocated headquarters to Kobe.
1988 Launched the NE-8000 automated hematology analyzer.
1991 Established the Ono Factory (presently Sysmex International Reagents Co. Ltd. Ono Factory) in Ono.
1992 Established Sysmex TMC Co. Ltd.
1995 Established the joint venture Jinan Dongya Medical Electronics  Co. Ltd. (presently Jinan Sysmex Medical Electronics Co. Ltd.) in China.
1998 Established the joint venture Sysmex Transasia Bio-Medicals Private Ltd. (presently Sysmex India Pvt. Ltd.)
2000 Established the Chinese subsidiary Sysmex Shanghai Ltd. in Shanghai.
2001 Launched the PAMIA-40i immunoagglutination analyzer.
2001 Acquired Delphic Medical Systems and changed its name to Sysmex Delphic Limited.
2003 Merged two U.S. subsidiaries Sysmex Corporation of America  and Sysmex Infosystems America Inc. to establish Sysmex America Inc.
2009 Established the Indian joint venture Sysmex Transasia Services Pvt Ltd.
2011 Acquired Katakura Industries Co. Ltd.'s Research Institute of Biological Science.
2016 Converted Riken Genesis Co. Ltd. to a subsidiary.
2022 Astrego Diagnostics AB becomes wholly owned Sysmex subsidiary.
2023 Sysmex announced global business partnership agreement with Roche Diagnostics International Ltd. 
2024 Sysmex and Hitachi High-Tech agree to collaborate on development of new genetic testing systems.
