1993 Victrex plc was formed following a $20.9 million management buyout of ICI's PEEK business, which floated on the London Stock Exchange in 1995.
1999 Victrex plc acquires upstream assets by purchasing its DFDPM manufacturing site at Rotherham, UK.
2000 Invibio, a part of Victrex plc, launched a Biomaterial Solutions division focused on the medical devices market.
2005 Victrex plc acquired the Seal Sands site on Teesside, U.K., a part of manufacturing BDF, the critical raw material for PEEK.
2008 Victrex plc initiated the operations of PP2, the company's second PEEK manufacturing plant at Hillhouse, U.K.
2012 Victrex plc opened its new U.K. Technical Centre at Hillhouse and started the construction of its third PEEK plant to underpin future growth.
2015 Victrex plc acquired Kleiss Gears Inc. for around $6 million. Through this acquisition, Kleiss will provide Victrex with the opportunity to enhance its adoption of Victrex's PEEK gear proposition to meet the automotive industry's requirements.
2017 Victrex plc acquired Zyex, a fiber manufacturer, to accelerate the development of existing and new markets for PEEK fiber applications.
2019 Victrex plc has commenced a massive investment in Bond High-Performance 3D Technology to help customers with an accelerated route for marketing 3D printed PAEK parts.
2020 Victrex plc invested in a new PEEK manufacturing facility to differentiate its portfolio of PEEK grades and support customers in the China and Asia regions.
2022 Victrex plc partnered with In2Bones Global Inc. to share its PEEK-Ultima Ultra Reinforced Carbon Fiber Technology for the production of medical equipment.
2023 Victrex plc completed the manufacturing plant in China and will be commercially operational in FY 2024.
