1967 Dr. Habil Khorakiwala founded Wockhardt, a research-based global healthcare company. 
1972 Wockhardt launched PROXYVON, the first combination formulation in pain management for the healthcare industry.
2003 The company acquired CP Pharmaceuticals for $15.5 million, which will grow the Indian company's UK market presence and develop a larger manufacturing base, allowing it to expand its business into other European markets.
2006 Wockhardt acquired Pinewood Laboratories Ltd. for around $150 million. This acquisition will give Wockhardt a larger footprint in Europe, which includes the UK, Ireland, and Germany.
2020 The UK government partnered with Wockhardt to provide fill and finish services as part of an effort to accelerate vaccine manufacturing in the UK.
2021 Wockhardt partnered with Jemincare for Wockhardt's novel patented antibiotic WCK 4873 in the People's Republic of China, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan to treat community-acquired bacterial pneumonia and other respiratory tract infections.
2022 Wockhardt & Serum Life Sciences UK collaborated to manufacture multiple vaccines in the UK.
