1998	Yingli Solar was founded in 1998 in Baoding, Hebei, China. It is a solar energy company that specializes in solar panels and photovoltaics.
2021	The company partnered with Huawei and North China Electric Power University and established the Huawei Baoding New Energy Power Joint Innovation Laboratory.
2024	The company signed a joint distribution for 500MW PV modules with German distributor Densys PV5 to develop the residential market and to use cleaner and more efficient energy for consumers.
