1852-1900  
1852 The company was established in an iron foundry by Josef Körösi, a Hungarian entrepreneur in Andritz, Graz. Soon after its establishment, the company started producing cranes,  water turbines, pumps, bridges, mining equipment, steam boilers, and engines.
1946-1980  
1949 The company started with a lasting cooperation in the water turbine industry with the Escher Wyss Group of Switzerland. The company's product portfolio was revised: The production of air compressors and steam engines ended, and the focus shifted towards centrifugal pumps, water turbines, cranes, and steel structures.
1960s and 1970s The company continued to grow with the extension of production shops, new machine purchases, and intensified research and development activities. Electrochemical and metallurgical equipment were also added to the production program.
1990 The company's acquisition of Sprout-Bauer, a U.S. company offering equipment for mechanical pulp and animal feed production, marks the beginning of its successful expansion policy through acquisitions.
2001/2003  
2001 The company went public on the Vienna Stock Exchange, and two million new shares were successfully placed with worldwide investors.
