1891 Babcock and Wilcox Limited was incorporated in Britain. 
1894 B&W established a Marine Department.
1901 The first manufacturing facility opens in Bayonne, New Jersey.
1904 B&W acquired the Pittsburgh Seamless Tube Company in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania.
1926 B&W acquires Fuller Lehigh Company.
1956 B&W’s Atomic Energy Division opens a plant for fabricating nuclear fuel elements, cores, and other reactor parts in Lynchburg, Virginia.
1963 B&W acquired the Goldie & McCulloch interests in Babcock-Wilcox & Goldie-McCulloch Ltd.
1967 Babcock-Wilcox & Goldie-McCulloch has been changed to Babcock & Wilcox Canada Ltd.
2001 B&W Vølund acquired DynaGrate technology.
2010 B&W completes spinoff from former parent company McDermott International Inc.
