Company Overview
Bostik is headquartered in Paris and has production facilities and sales operations in 39 countries, with products sold in more than 50 countries. It has 51 production sites and 12 research centers spread over five continents. The corporate team, based in Paris, focuses on strategic management—setting the objectives, coordinating, supporting, and controlling the business activities. The subsidiaries run their own local business units for local industry, construction, and consumer markets and also support the global business units for hygiene, transportation, and flexible and laminated products.
Bostik S.A. (France) offers HMPSAs, recyclable products, flame-retardant film adhesives, heat-seal coatings, solvent-based adhesives, laminates for aircraft interiors, thermal and acoustic insulation systems, and reactive adhesives. It also provides foam-in-place gaskets, webs, powder adhesives, and elastic bonding adhesive and sealant systems; paper, film, and foil laminating adhesives; heat-seal coatings, cold-seals, gloss lacquers, and re-closable systems; linear saturated copolyester resins, adhesive tapes and labels, and curable and noncurable one-component and two-component systems.
In addition, the company offers hot-melt butyl insulating glass sealants, white glue, moisture cure hot–melt PUR, polyamide, and polyolefin. Its products are used in various applications, such as personal care and hygiene, packaging, transportation, flexible lamination, tapes and labels, assembly, and construction components, as well as construction and consumer applications.
In December 2004, Bostik Inc. became the company’s official name, replacing its former name, Bostik Findley Inc. As of February 2, 2015, Bostik SA operates as a subsidiary of Arkema S.A.
