Thales (or Thales Group) is a technology company governed by French law. It provides a wide range of solutions divided into three segments:

• The Aerospace segment includes the Avionics and Space Global Business Units, which create systems and services for both private sector and government/defense customers. 

• The Defense & Security segment combines Secure Communications and Information Systems, Land and Air Systems and Defense Mission Systems, providing equipment and services for armed forces and network protection.

• The Digital Identity & Security (DIS) segment focuses on digital identity and security solutions for both private and government customers, as well as digital businesses related to data protection previously included in the Defense & Security segment.

• Aerospace : The Aerospace segment combines the Avionics, Space Global Business Units. They develop on-board systems and services for Private sector customers like Aircraft manufacturers, Airlines, satellite operators and Government or Defense customers like National governments, Space agencies, Semi-public organizations.
• Defence & Security : The Defense and Security segment combines the Secure Communications and Information Systems, Land and Air Systems, Defense Mission Systems, Global Business Units. They develop equipment, systems, services for armed forces and the protection of networks and infrastructure, mainly for a government or defense customer base.
• Digital I&S : The Digital Identity and Security segment develops Digital identity and Security solutions for a private and government customer base, and some digital businesses were previously included in the Defense & Security segment, particularly in data protection.
• Other : The Other segment includes Space, Transport, Cybersecurity Solutions.
